Classes at Muay Thai School USA

Muay Thai School USA offers a several different levels of classes in the specialized martial art of Muay Thai. Whether you are looking for a beginner class in Muay Thai,  are a professional/amateur fighter, or somewhere in between, there is a class level for you. Additionally, we offer classes for fitness, stretching, and one-on-one private training. Classes are available for junior students as well, in the age groups of 5-8 years and 9-15 years old. We offer use of our gym to “work out while you wait” for your child during their class.

BEGINNING MUAY THAI:

In this class you will learn all the basics of Muay Thai plus strength and conditioning, as well as stretching. The basics of Muay Thai include Stance, Footwork, Punches, Kicks, Knees, Elbows, as both offensive and defensive techniques. Training also includes: heavy bag, pad work and basic clinching.

INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED MUAY THAI:

Intermediate/Advance level includes a challenging strength & conditioning warm-up. The true major techniques and combinations of Muay Thai are taught along with a deeper understanding of Muay Thai and Thai culture. The secret teachings of the Kru can truly be passed down to this level of student based on the Kru and student relationship. Training includes heavy bag, pad work, clinching, sparring, and Wai Kru.

PROFESSIONAL/ AMATEUR FIGHTING:

We have a team of fighters that participate in events locally, as well as national and international event opportunities. The fighting team trains together and represents Muay Thai School USA. Ability to join the team requires evaluation by Muay Thai School USA Krus (teachers).

PRIVATE TRAINING:

Private training is available for adults and children. This is a one-on-one session with one of our qualified "Krus" (teachers in Thai). Private training helps address the specific needs or goals of each student. Please call for rates and availability.

MUAY THAI FOR FITNESS:

Great cardio workout by using Muay Thai actions—all to music! This high impact class is designed to burn tons of calories, get a taste of Muay Thai, and get into great shape!

ALL-IN-ONE:

This one-of-a-kind class begins with a warm-up, broken down into easy to follow steps to help prevent injury and ensure the benefit from each exercise. The warm-up is followed by learning how to use the heavy bag in punches, kicks, knees and elbows. Class finishes with "ab" work, stretching and meditation. This workout gets it all done—"all in one" class!

FOAM ROLLER STRETCH:

Using a foam roller is one of the best new ways to prevent and diminish muscle knots by using your own body weight to generate direct pressure on tight areas. If you want to release tight muscles, this is your class!

JR. MUAY THAI AND WORK OUT WHILE YOU WAIT:

We offer Jr. Muay Thai classes for 5-8 year olds and 9-15 year olds. Students learn all the physical aspects of Muay Thai, but more importantly they learn the respect, discipline, confidence and focus that this special martial art offers.

We offer a special Work Out While You Wait program which includes use of our state-of-the-art gym for you while your child is in class.
